An Army's sustainability in wartime depends to a large extent on the soldiers, the technology of the weapon systems, the logistic support, and, of course, the tactics. Combat resilience engineering is a rather new discipline, and there are not yet proven methods to meet the logistician's combat resilience requirements. Developing these methods will be a challenge for engineers and analysts in the next few years. In this paper, an approach for the prediction of combat damage will be presented. To date, the prediction procedure was only applied to existing systems. It might be modified, however, for the application to systems under development.
