This paper describes an Electromagnetic Interference/Compatibility (EMIC) prediction model for aircraft which was developed by the Boeing Military Airplane Company (BMAC) for predicting EMIC of new and proposed system installations on the B-52. The EMIC prediction model utilizes a unique method of determining the coupling between two antenna systems on the air-plane model and provides a graphical presentation of interference/compatibility levels that allows quick interpretation of the EMIC predictions.
