This paper presents a hybrid co-evolutionary based multi-objective Particle Swarm Optimization approach. The proposed algorithm is structured via a multi-agent system. The proposed algorithm is tested and validated using test functions. As a practical application, the method is applied to the hull subdivision design of a ro-ro ship.
