About 120 LMCS (GBAS) which meet the requirements of SARPs for the GBAS ground-based augmentation systems currently operate in the Russian Federation. These stations provide highly accurate navigation of aircraft in the code differential mode (DM) and the approach of the CATI category (GASTC) with the use of civilian signals of the L1 GLONASS and GPS range.
