Compared with the electromagnetic suspension(EMS) technology, the permanent magnet electromagnetic hybrid suspension(PEMS) technology has a significant energy saving advantage. However, due to the introduction of permanent magnet, the non-linearity and control difficulty of the system are increased. In this paper, the single-degree-of-freedom PEMS system is taken as the research object. Based on the analysis of the system structure, the open loop transfer function of the PEMS system was constructed, and the system characteristics were analyzed. Secondly, the fuzzy PID algorithm is applied to design the position loop regulator of the hybrid suspension system, aiming at the nonlinear, time-delay and instability characteristics of the system. The control effect is optimized by adjusting the PID parameters. Finally, a code generation test environment was built to complete the test verification. The test results show that compared with the traditional PID control algorithm, the fuzzy PID control algorithm has high control precision, fast response, small overshoot, and strong anti-disturbance ability, adaptability and robustness. It lays a foundation for further promoting the engineering application of hybrid suspension technology.
