Geometry modification of a trainer aircraft using drag sensitivities is presented. Wing shape optimization has been carried out using the open source tool SU2. An overall drag reduction of around 72 counts for the full aircraft with sensitivity analysis is achievedÅ. Further wing shape optimization resulted in a 28 count reduction in the drag.
