Abstract The RAPID instrument on board the four Cluster spacecraft delivers 3-D distributions of energetic (≳ 30 keV) ion and electron flux for up to eight energy channels. To make this data set available to the general scientific community, both during the operations phase and beyond the end of the mission, the RAPID Team is delivering processed data to the Cluster Active Archive (CAA). These data consist of both fluxes generated with the best current calibrations available, as well as raw count rates for knowledgeable users. Diagnostic products, caveats, documentation, and summary plots are also part of the deliverables. The intention is that once the Cluster Mission is completed and the instrument teams disbanded, this will be the sole repository of all available RAPID data and knowledge about it. This article gives an overview of the RAPID data products at CAA, and is intended to summarize the more complete description given in the Interface Control Document.
