Abstract Strategy management is one of the popular research topics done on Soccer Robot development. Planning a functioning and effective strategy not only requires the strategies to think creatively, but also logically to ensure that the strategy will have a probability to be executed and scores. Therefore, understanding the probability concept is important for developing a winning strategy. This paper aims to introduce an approach to teach basic probability concept through a simple soccer robot strategy planning, focusing on a MiroSot Small League using SocSim Soccer Robot simulator. The researcher first proof the effectiveness of probability consideration when developing soccer robot strategies. Then, the researcher introduces an approach to teach probability concept, type of didactical knowledge these teachers need, beyond the knowledge of probability itself and suggest activities that are found useful in the training.
