The article is devoted to the study of the synthesis and application of refractory foam concrete based on Portland cement and basalt fiber under high-temperature influences. The composition of refractory foam concrete of medium density D700 class according to the maximum permissible application temperature I6 (600 ℃) is proposed. New technical solutions with the use of refractory foam concrete in the structures of civil and special engineering objects are shown: as linings of thermal units, steam boilers and industrial furnaces as well as structural elements of nuclear reactors.
