Over-speeding and accidents caused due to sudden braking are two of the leading causes of road accidents, which is increasing every year. To monitor every stretch of road 24/7, manpower or resources are required for traffic enforcement officials which is not sufficient as of now. This leads to people getting away with speeding in speed zones. During manufacturing, the proposed system may be installed into a vehicle, to automatically apply brakes, when the vehicle ahead applies brakes, to avert a collision and to detect if a vehicle is maintaining the speed limit and if not, the RTO will instantly send a notification of the fine via SMS to the driver. Another major problem to be tackled is noise pollution caused by constant honking of vehicles. By using inter-vehicular communication unnecessary honking noise can be reduced to a certain extent. Inter vehicle communication can also be used to avert a collision by applying brakes when the vehicle in the front applies brakes suddenly.
