Analyze the UAV’s video and image contents, design the detection algorithm, obtain the carplate content with carplate location adopting SVM and character recognition utilizing ANN, submit the evidence collection to the UAV’s command and control (C2) system, and offer the warning and decision information to the user in the C2 process; Design the moving object tracking method, realize the automatic detection and tracking of vehicles through the image matching and moving target location. The method presented in this paper is to improve the level of UAV’s intelligence and application abilities.
