Supply chainSupply chain management network design is a complex multi-objective optimisationMulti-objective optimisation problem consisting of identifying the best combination of suppliers, manufacturing and transport options inter alia, with the aim of optimising the overall performance of the network. In this chapter, the Bees AlgorithmBees Algorithm, THE is presented as a powerful tool for designing optimalOptimal supply chains by minimising the total costCost and the total lead time simultaneously when the number of possible configurations is high, which is classified as a NP-hard problem. The Bees AlgorithmBees Algorithm shows better performance compared to other well-known approaches and it is effective in solving multi-objective supply chain optimisation problems.
