The content of inflammable, explosive and toxic gas must be detected in the rail transit pile foundation well. Conventional detection device is mainly single type detection, which makes it difficult for the ground to real-time monitor the conditions in the well. The gas detection device based on LoRa wireless communication can simultaneously detect CO, O2, H2S and combustible gas. It is independently powered by high-energy lithium battery and does not rely on external power supply. Upon detection of excessive concentrations of flammable, explosive and toxic gases, LED lights and buzzers emit sound and light alarms and transmit the data wirelessly via LoRa to monitoring devices located on the ground. At the same time, GPRS module is used for cloud alarm, alarm data is sent to the cloud server, and short message is sent to the mobile phone of the site construction person in charge. The tests showed that the gas detection device has had high detection accuracy, long communication distance and stable signal, which can improve the safety of power cable.
