China has included “governing the military with strict discipline and by the law” into the strategic layout of rule of law, which marks a new chapter of the construction of law-based military. During this process, the construction of law-based military academies is vital, and it should be pressed forward in sync with the construction of law-based military. However, several prominent problems exist in the current management of military academies. Therefore, studying the main contradictions and countermeasures of law-based management in military academies is of great strategic and practical significance in optimizing the governance system, improving the governance capacity, and promoting law-based management in military academies. This paper first analyzes the existing problems of law-based management in military academies systematically, then thoroughly reveals the prominent contradictions and their causes, and finally explores the countermeasures and provides basic guide for academies to follow.
