Abstract As investigated in Chap.  2 , the operation voltage of Railway HPQC is lower than that of RPC in co-phase traction power. However, the system parameter of Railway HPQC must be designed specifically to achieve lower operation voltage. In this chapter, the systematic design procedure of Railway HPQC for minimum operation voltage is explored by investigating the relationship between coupled impedance and Railway HPQC operation voltage. The design is supported by PSCAD simulation and experimental results from hardware prototype. They are presented within this chapter.
