Due to the high similarity of the input and output characteristics of different fault modes in the transformer rectifier unit and the difficulty of fault diagnosis, the simulation model of the aviation transformer rectifier unit is established, the fault characteristic data is collected, and the input and output characteristics of the rectifier were analyzed. The failures in different failure modes are studied by using the time-frequency analysis method to extract the failure characteristics. The research results show that the input and output characteristics are influenced by the open and short circuit fault conditions. The analysis of the main influencing factors and change rules of the fault is of some reference significance to determine the fault mode of aviation transformer rectifier unit.
