Low-cost and fast-response LEO(Low-Earth orbit) satellite network is an important technical means to meet the needs of communication and transmission services with periodic continuous coverage in specific regions. Aiming at this kind of problem, a method of LEO(Low-Earth orbit) constellation design combining analytical method and optimization method is proposed in this paper. Firstly, a regression orbit model and a typical sensor coverage model are established. Secondly, taking the optimal coverage effect of a specific region as the performance index, particle swarm optimization (PSO) was used to optimize and solve the orbit parameters of a single satellite. Finally, the orbit parameters of the constellation are solved by analytical method. This method can take into account the computational efficiency of analytical method and the universality of optimization method, and can realize the rapid solution of low-earth orbit constellation with periodic continuous coverage in local region, which has good engineering application value.
