Based on the existing ship traffic flow AIS data, the frequency model of ship crossing channel (FMSCC) is established. In addition, the main channel of the eastern crossing channel is taken as an example, for the passenger ship crossing the main channel of the eastern crossing channel on the route from Songyu wharf in Xiamen port to Neicuo’ao wharf in Gulangyu Island. We used the mathematical model to carry out systematic and effective statistics and analysis on the ship traffic flow AIS data of the eastern crossing channel. Whether the close demonstration can shorten the departure interval of passenger ships, reveal the distribution law of departure time window, to provide theoretical basis for the adjustment of departure arrangement of ferry passenger ships, provide theoretical decision support for relevant departments of the port, optimize the marine traffic environment, and improve the efficiency of traffic organization.
