The continuous development of information technology promotes its wide application in more fields. In the railway passenger transport, the optimization of the railway passenger transit route is not only a matter of great concern to passengers when choosing reasonable travel plans, but also an effective way to improve the work efficiency and quality of railway transport departments. Based on the comprehensive analysis of the shortest path algorithm, this paper proposes to improve Dijkstra algorithm from two aspects of network scale and search technology. Combined with the spatial distribution characteristics of railway passenger transport network, the key technologies such as road network hierarchical model, passenger transit calculation model, storage data structure of passenger transport network and operation data structure of shortest path algorithm are studied. Finally, the improved algorithm of railway passenger transit route calculation is realized.
