Objective To develop an evaluation system for attention features and to provide a test method in pilots’ spatial orientation. Methods Through analysis and research, evaluation tasks were set, evaluation indexes were determined, evaluation system was developed, and its reliability and validity were tested experimentally, and evaluation test norm was established. Results The primary and secondary task paradigms were adopted in the evaluation system, including 5 simulated flight combat and warning response test tasks, and 13 data indicators were determined, and the retest reliability and criterion-related validity were 0.993 and 0.753, respectively, which reached the statistically significant level (P < 0.001). The norm standards for test results were established. Conclusions In this study, an evaluation test system was developed to view pilots’ attention features in the process of spatial orientation. The system had good reliability and validity, and could be used to evaluate pilots’ attention features when they orientate space information in flight, so as to partially reflect their attention features in spatial orientation.
