The article deals with two optoelectronic systems that determine the position of a light source placed on a mobile system. The mobile system has a movement in a plane or in a workspace whose topography is known a priori. One of the optoelectronic systems consists of electric actuators and moving mechanical elements and the other is of the solid-state type. In the case of both optoelectronic systems, the determination of the position of the light source is based on the triangulation method.
