According to the different requirements during the flight period of wing morphing aircraft, it deforms the wing to adjust the flight speed and body attitude, which causes the change and also the uncertainty of the model structure and parameters. A dynamic inversion PID attitude controller on basis of the wing morphing aircraft model is designed by using the principle of dynamic inverse control and the principle of time-scale decomposition. Furthermore, a kind of attitude control system structure that uses neural network to adjust PID parameters adaptively is proposed to establish an adaptive PID tracking controller for morphing aircraft, which improves the intelligent level of the design process. It is shown by the computer simulation results that, the proposed adaptive control method has the ability to adjust and stabilize the attitude angle of wing morphing aircraft at the desired attitude angle efficiently and quickly in a shorter time than the original control method.
