Everyone seeks safety for vehicle as well as for owner/driver. Safety is a major issue in all kinds of automobiles. So, we have come up with a smart system to deal with the primary safety measures. The authentication of driver is one the major aspects. Along with that the probability of traffic accidents would be more if a person drives without proper sleep and rest. So, in order to provide safety, we propose a smart system for four-wheelers. In the proposed work, first of all the system verifies the authentication of driver by face recognition and finger print sensor for preventing vehicle theft then for accident prevention and alert, we have implemented image processing and also various alert systems have been included. Mainly the system provides various alert against theft of vehicle and the drowsiness of driver. To develop the system, we processed the driver face images. These frequent images are analyzed for the changes happened in the face expressions and eye movements. If drowsiness detected, the system alerts the driver by vibrating his seat and with loud alarm noise. In case, if accident happens the alert will be sent to the relatives of the driver.
