The development of electric vehicles (EVs) has reduced environmental pollution and brought many conveniences to urban life, driven by advances in sustainable energy development. Benefited from the above advantages, EVs are considered to be the representative of the next generation of transportation electrification and gain popularity among different countries and regions. However, range anxiety has still been a significant problem restricting the development of EVs. Therefore, navigation service optimization is necessary for the long-term prosperity of the EVs market. In this chapter, we attempt to introduce some related work and new technologies in this domain. The chapter demonstrates the development of EVs, different EV charging models and the navigation service system. Then, we introduce the navigation service optimization from plug-in and battery swapping models respectively. Finally, we show some burgeoning charging service methods.
