An investigation of structural response control from accelerometers mounted on a test specimen immersed in a high-intensity sound field within a reverberant chamber was conducted. One-third octave and narrowband control and analysis were used. A cylindrical and a rectangular structure were used as test specimens. The investigation was conducted at acoustic testing facilities at Lockheed Missile and Space Co., Sunnyvale, CA.The test consisted of first performing a modal survey on the test specimen and then placing the specimen in the reverberant chamber.
