ALTHOUGH the displacement of horses by tractors has been taking place on farms for only 20 years in any large amounts, tractor power is finding it increasingly harder to displace animal power. Mr. Sperry believes this condition is due to two factors: To overcome these difficulties, at least in part, Mr. Sperry suggests the following as the most important requirements for tractors of the future:
