A survey of the design concepts and features of the powerplant installation in the de Havilland Aircraft of Canada Dash 7 is presented. The Dash 7 is a 50 passenger, four-engined turboprop STOL aircraft. The UACL PT6A-50 engines, their mountings, intakes and control systems are described.
