A survey of the design concepts and features of the powerplant installation in the de Havilland Aircraft of Canada Dash 7 is presented. The Dash 7 is a 50 passenger, four-engined turboprop STOL aircraft. The UACL PT6A-50 engines, their mountings, intakes and control systems are described. The construction and control system of the Hamilton Standard 24 PF propellers are discussed. A brief description of the accessory systems concludes the paper
