This specification covers nonfluorescent magnetic particles in the form of a mixed, ready-to-use suspension in an odorless oil vehicle and packaged in aerosol cans. AMS3043F is the result of a Five-Year Review and update of the specification. The revision updates use of the product in line with general industry practice (1.2), updates warnings (1.3), deletes reference to a dated specification (3.1, 3.4, and 5.1.1), eliminates preproduction approval (4.2), and updates testing protocols (3.4, 3.4.1.2, 3.4.2, and 3.4.3).
