The National Operations Center of Excellence, launched in January 2015 is designed to promote excellence by actively connecting the needs of transportation systems management and operations audiences with available knowledge resources and encouraging communities of practice. The Center is a partnership of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, the Institute of Transportation Engineers, and the Intelligent Transportation Society of America, with support from the Federal Highway Administration. The resources offered by the Center include an online resource center a monthly newsletter, a discussion forum, various peer-exchange opportunities, and webinars.
