Safety Analysis of Marked Versus Unmarked Crosswalks in 30 Cities - Deciding where to mark crosswalks is only one consideration in selecting appropriate solutions to improve pedestrian safety and access. More substantial improvements were recommended to provide for safer pedestrian crossings.
