A new passenger information system has been installed on part of the Northern Line of the London underground. This system provides passengers with real-time information on the anticipated arrival of the next three trains. Arrival times are predicted from knowledge of train locations derived from the track circuitry. As part of an evaluation of the real-time information system the accuracy of the system has been monitored. The report presents a summary of the results.
