The report analyses results from two studies concerning how drivers adapt their travel behavior to changing weather conditions and road surface conditions. Two interview studies have been made. One of the studies was performed by drawing a representative sample of the populations in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. The other study was performed as a roadside interview where drivers were stopped at random a couple of days after a heavy snow fall.
