The Summary Report provides an overview of the selection of the 989.4 miles of regional highway study network; the inventories, analyses and deficiencies found on this network for 1971 and 1991. The forecast of traffic to 1991 to serve as a basis for future highway needs is described. Total highway needs of $181 million for the region were projected to 1991 while highway financing of $90 million is estimated to be available. A recommended improvements program including isolated reconstruction, major widening and resurfacing is included with an estimated cost of $108 million for the twenty year period. (Author)
