This report, conducted by AAROTEC Infrastructure Group, Inc., was funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. It examines the feasibility of the expansion of the Bamako-Senou airport in Mali. In two volumes, the report contains information on the existing condition of the airport, its demand forecasts, an airspace study, a demand capacity analysis, the airport facility requirements and layouts, a cost and financial analysis, and a preliminary environmental assessment. This project has the potential to produce $14 million in U.S. exports, with the magnitude of exports generating from runway extension, relocation of existing navigational aids, airfield lighting, construction of a parallel taxiway, construction of perimeter fencing/road, passenger terminal expansion, installation of safety equipment for terminal installation of security equipment/inspection station, new technical equipment for terminal, and for the construction of passenger loading bridges.
