A wind tunnel investigation of influence of a sting support with an angle-of-attack range of 110 deg to the model is described. The influence on the aerodynamic coefficients of a larger object in the detached region of downwash of a wing is discussed. The influence of the sting support is small in the whole angle-of-attack range. The influence of an object in the region of downwash of the wing can influence the aerodynamic coefficients.
