Today and tomorrow we'll be discussing the human elements as it must be factored into the aviation maintenance assumptions and operators programs. All too often in the past when the probable cause of an accident or incident was identified as a human error in maintenance, that was the end of it. In the next two days, we'd like to take it a step further, not necessarily by coming up with any answer or drawing any fixations on any conclusions, but to try to identify the central issues that relate to the human factor in aviation maintenance.
