A study was conducted to develop and implement a computerized highway traffic information system (CHTIS) for use in allocating police traffic services. The study recommends the establishment of a continuing traffic resource allocation laboratory utilizing a CHTIS and the initiation of a program to analyze the unique data base made available by the system.
