This program was for the analysis, design, manufacture, and test of two Bomb Lift Trucks (BLT), A/S32K-4. The purpose of these vehicles is to handle large quantities of munitions in the munitions storage (Igloo) area. The initial phase of the program was a preliminary design phase to define the overall vehicle configuration. This was followed by a detail design and fabrication phase. The final phase included functional and environmental testing at the contractor's facility plus liaison during Air Force evaluation tests. (Author)
