The use of ESA's Medium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MERIS) for various land applications has been investigated in this project. MERIS will provide 15 bands (although the system can be fully programmed) in the 400-900 nm range at 300m resolution over land. The main objectives are directed toward oceanography, for land various vegetation products are envisaged.
