The safety standards of modern cars is continually improving, and this clearly also applies to child seats. However, the correct seat has to be chosen with care, as the most recent test by auto motor and sport reveals: two out of six seats failed owing to safety defects. The report describes crash tests done on six child seats. It provides injury risk information and makes recommendations regarding the seats.
