A case of unsuspected retinoblastoma is reported. An eye was enucleated from an 11-year-old child because of panophthalmitis following corneal injury. Keratomycosis was also present. The case points out the rare occurrence of acute trauma leading to the recognition of retinoblastoma. (Author)
