The subject test program investigated model bending frequencies and wave shapes and their corresponding damping factors, for several different missile configurations. The missile simulated flight configuration as nearly as possible except that the booster thrust chambers and the sustainer engine were removed. Various propellant loading conditions were simulated using water instead of fuel and liquid oxygen. The missile suspension system was designed specifically to achieve good dynamic isolation of the missile under the staging and loading conditions required for the test program. It is the purpose of this report to summarize the results of all captive testing of Missile 7B at MSTS Test Stand 1-1 in terms of planned test objectives, and to point out any additional information derived from the reduction and analysis of the test data.
