A project was proposed to improve general aviation airport at Saratoga, Carbon County, Wyoming: Extend and pave runway 2600 ft. x 75 ft.; construct taxiway 1500 ft. x 30 ft.; enlarge apron area by 5850 square yards. The airport is located just outside Saratoga and a possible increase in noise and air pollution exists if traffic increases. Negligible impact to natural environment is contemplated - no significant wildlife breeding grounds are near the airport. Adverse environmental effect is a possible increase in noise and air pollution if traffic increases. (Author)
