The major goals and objectives of the project are to investigate a novel four-dimensional (4D) sensing approach based on 3D photon counting time varying integral sensing and imaging architecture with distributed sensors. This novel approach with a small number of photons and poor SNR and results in a substantial increase in the ability for detection of underwater signals, objects, and sources.
