The purpose of this program was to evaluate the designation of fixed and moving ground targets from a remotely controlled unmanned aerial platform. These tests employing the QH-50 drone helicopter were conducted at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, during the period of 3 December 1971 to 15 February 1972. This report describes this test program and discusses the results obtained. The feasibility of employing a rotary wing Remotely Piloted Vehicle for accurate target designation was demonstrated.
