The Spokane International Airport Industrial Park Master Plan presents the results of a study of land use and a development plan of areas adjacent to the Spokane International Airport. The Master Plan provides for Industrial Park development of two separate land areas. One area is the old existing aviation facility known as Geiger Field, and the other area is undeveloped agricultural land located to the west of the airport terminal and is referred to as the West Industrial Park. The master plan will provide for an organized industrial development, which should bring long term economic benefits to SIA and the surrounding areas frequently referred to as the Inland Empire.
