Crack growth rates from fractographic observations of fracture surfaces subjected to two kinds of random flight simulation loading were examined. The crack growth curves were estimated under the assumption that the striation spacings correspond to the crack growth per flight. The assumption is concluded to be reasonable by the comparison of estimated and measured curves.
