This report documents the additional analysis conducted subsequent to the 'U.S. Coast Guard Patrol Boat Mission Analysis Study' report dated 30 June 1993 and should be considered as a separate appendix to that report. The purpose of the analysis was (1) to conduct a sensitivity analysis to anlayze the required fuel capacity needed on a Coast Guard Patrol Boat, based on the simulation conducted during the mission analysis study and to expand upon the environmental data to include dominant wave period; (2) to expand on interface analysis between the Coastal Patrol Boat (CPB) and the motor life boat (MLB); and (3) to expand on recommendations for future data acquisition requirements and develop a methodology and input list to allow SIM II to be used during proposal evaluation of candidate patrol boats.
