This feasibility study, conducted by Emerging Markets Finance Corporation, was funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. This study examines project team phase II's formulating a finance structure capable of attracting external finance on commercial terms for the purchase of up to ten IL-114-100 aircraft to be subsequently leased to Uzbekistan Airways. This report, in six volumes, contains information on the project history, project deliverables and results, finance and security structure, western component parts, final recommendations, and minutes of meetings. This project has the potential to produce $277 million in U.S. exports, with the majority coming from Pratt & Whitnoe Canada engines and AlliedSignal avionics, brakes, and auxiliary units.
