The report pertains to tests conducted by an independent contractor as part of the National Highway Safety Bureau compliance testing program to determine whether or not motor vehicles and items of motor vehicle equipment comply with applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Tests were conducted on the following tires: Firestone E50C x 16 (2-ply sidewall, 4-ply tread), F50C x 16 (2-ply sidewall, 4-ply tread), H50C x 17 (2-ply sidewall, 4-ply tread), 6.50 x 13 (2-ply), 6.50 x 13 (4 ply), 175R x 13 (1-ply sidewall, 5-ply tread), 6.95 x 14 (2 ply), 7.75 x 14 (4 ply), 8.25 x 14 (4 ply), 8.25 x 14 (2 ply), G78 x 14 (4 ply); and Firestone-manufactured Phillips 66 F78 x 14 (2-ply sidewall, 4-ply tread), 7.35 x 14 (4 ply), 6.50 x 13 (4 ply), H78 x 15 (2-ply sidewall, 4-ply tread), 9.00 x 15 (2-ply sidewall, 4-ply tread), and H78 x 14 (2-ply sidewall, 4-ply tread).
